Chicago Blackhawks are the Stanley Cup champions for the third time since 2010.

The Blackhawks won their third Stanley Cup in six years with a thrilling 2-0 Game 6 victory over the Tampa Bay on Monday night, the first time since 1938 that they captured a championship in Chicago.

The Blackhawks also won the NHL title in 2010 and 2013.

Blackhawks win Stanley Cup at home for first time in 77 years

For the first time in 77 years, Chicago Blackhawks fans saw their hockey heroes win the Stanley Cup on home ice.

Star winger Patrick Kane had a goal, his first of the Stanley Cup Final, and an assist on defenseman Duncan Keith's goal to fuel the victory.

It was a thrilling 2-0 Game 6 victory for Blackhawks.Five of the six games were decided by a single goal.
