Mera Naam Mary - A copy of 'Chickni Chameli' ?

Brothers' new hot song seems to be inspired from Agneepath's blockbuster hit.
Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer, action-packed movie, 'Brothers' is one of much awaited movie of 2015. It is set to release on this Independence Day.

However, it's item number "Mera Naam Mary" featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of hottest song of this year. But, this song seems very much inspired from the hit 'Chikni Chameli'. This 2012 blockbuster featured Katrina Kaif in a hot avatar.

The song is a remake of a Marathi song and is been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The choreographer had promised earlier that this item number song would be as good as Katrina Kaif’s Chikni Chameli. But we don’t find any difference in both the songs.

Ganesh Acharya who had also choreographed Katrina Kaif for Chikni Chameli seems has come up with the same concept for Kareena’s ‘Mera Naam Mary’ also.
Both the songs are best at their place but if compared we don’t find any difference. Chikni Chameli as well as ‘Mera Naam Mary’, both the songs are remake of Marathi songs and have same impression.

Following factors proves 'Mera Naam Mary' is inspired from 'Chickni Chameli' :

  • Both songs are extremely hot and sexy but, are choreographed in same manner.
  • Like Katrina sizzled the screens in Chickni Chameli, Kareena is too hot in this song.
  • Sidharth Malhotra and Hrithik Roshan are the actors involved in respective songs.

  • Both these stars are in Angry-Young man mood during the songs.
  • Kat-Kareena are showed romancing with these, but both of heroes seems to ignore them.

Talking about the film, Brothers is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior. It starsAkshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, while Jackie Shroff will be seen in supporting role. Brothers is all set to hit screens on August 14, 2015.
