Neymar - The Next PELE ?

At the tender age of just 23, Neymar has already scored 44 goals in 64 games for Brazil.
The Brazilian Star currently sits 5th in Brazil's all time scoring list behind Legend Pele (77 goals from 92 games), Zico (66 from 88), Ronaldo (62 from 98) and (55 from 70).

And, at the tender age of 23, Neymar has already scored 44 goals from 64 games for Brazil. Neymar has managed a 0.68 goals per match ratio for Brazil, since his debut against USA at the age of 18.




Pele made his debut at the age of 16 and managed a 0.83 goals-per-game record in his international carrer.

By the time Neymar made his debut, Pele had a World Cup under his belt. And by Neymar,s age Pele had won two of his three World Cups.


But, Brazil of Pele's era were different than today's. It was far superior to one we see in terms of international domination. Brazil's clash against Germany in last summer's World Cup semi-final can tell how much they rely on their talisman.
