Mobile No. added on Facebook? Remove it at once.

Have you added your Mobile no. on to your Facebook profile? If yes, then remove it as soon as possible.

If you have submitted your no., anyone can get your details by typing your number in Facebook Search Bar, irrespective of your privacy setting. Thus, anyone can misuse your details.

According to Daily Mail, Technical director of SALT agency, Reza Moinuddin, prepared a possible number combination of Britain, USA, Canada through Coding script. Then, they register millions of number on Facebook's App-building Program (API) and they get millions of profiles in response.

Moinuddin told Daily Mail, "With such a big security loophole, any person with good knowledge can get the details of users having their numbers on facebook and can misuse it. He can even sell the user's details."

Facebook had been informed already in april and was asked to pre-encript the API, but, this loophole remains same. As a result, 1.4 M users' account are available for hacking.

According to last years' report of RAND corporation's National Security Division, pictures, names,phone no., academic details and location can be sold on illegal trading sites.

It is also mentioned in the reports that Twitter and facebook accounts are more benefecial than the stolen credit cards.
